The General Store Cashier and Sales Representative will possess excellent customer service skills, accurately and efficiently process purchases utilizing POS system and cash and maintain a professional demeanor. Experience in retail and food handling is an asset but not necessary, successful candidates will receive on the job training. There is shift work involved.

Room Attendant
Motel
The Crossing Motel Room Attendant will have 6 months experience in a similar position. The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, work quickly and efficiently to complete all assigned rooms by check-in with few, if any, deficiencies. Room Attendants are self-motivated and goal-oriented and reliable. There is no shift work involved.
Salary: $16 - $19/hour + gratuities

Front Desk Agent
Motel
The Front Desk Agent will have 6 months previous experience in a similar position. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer skills and a professional telephone manner. The Front Desk agent will be familiar with property management software and contribute to an accurate audit. There is shift work involved.

Sous Chef
Food & Beverage
The Sous Chef will work alongside Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including training, mentoring and overseeing other kitchen staff. Aids in the preparation and supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards. Leads Kitchen Team in chef's absence. Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours.
Salary – Commensurate with experience + gratuities.
Restaurant / Pub Server

The Restaurant/Pub Server will have at least 6 months previous experience in a similar position. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, accurately handle a cash, have POS experience and maintain a professional appearance. There is shift work involved and at times split shifts.

Line Cooks / Buffet Cooks
Food & Beverage
The Line Cook will prepare food to Chef’s exact specifications and set up stations for menu. They will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with their daily tasks. Knows and complies with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, policies and procedures. Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service.
Salary – $16-$19/hour. Commensurate with experience + gratuities.

General Maintenance Labourer
Maintenance
The General Maintenance Labourer will possess a varied skill set, competent in the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical areas for our 65 room motel, 45 room staff accommodation, kitchen, bar, restaurant and general store. The successful candidate is a focused, self-motivated and integral individual that can perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Kitchen Helper
Food & Beverage
Wage commensurate with experience starting at 16.00/hr. wage increases are based upon evaluations.
Duties include but are not limited to: heat and cook simple foods, wash dishes, clean kitchen, prep foods and take out garbage. Will be taught in the use of deep fryer, oven and other equipment to prepare fast food items.
Completion of secondary school is recommended but not necessary. Successful applicants will receive on the job training. Experience is an asset but not necessary, successful candidates will receive on the job training. Must be able to read and write English.
Cafe Cashier

The Cafe Cashier is an integral part of our 22 member Food and Beverage team. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, accurately handle a cash float, have POS experience, deliver food orders, bus tables and be a dependable and supportive team member. There is shift work involved and at times split shifts. You will also be crosstrained in other F & B areas when necessary.
No previous experience necessary but is preferred. Must be willing to take the online ProServe Course.
Salary: $15/hour + gratuities
